TENAA released Huawei Ascend Mate 2 pictures

TENNA released Huawei Ascend Mate 2 pictures. The phablet is said to have latest Kirin910 chipset,1.6GHz quad-core Cortex-A9 processor, Mali-450 GPU and 2GB RAM.

As you might have expected, the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 will be released in its homeland - China and later - the rest of the world. For network carriers in China two versions will be available - MT2-C00 version (CDMA and GSM) for China Telecom and MT2-U071 (WCDMA and GSM) for China Unicom.

Some speculations about the specifications of the phone have arisen - previously it was said that it will have a 6.1" 1080p IPS display, but TENNA list the device with a 720p display. If this is true, then the upgrade from Mate to Mate 2 might not be worth it, because the new model will not offer much new stuff.

Still, another smartphone from Huawei has leaked out - one with an 8-core CPU - the Huawei Honor 4. The Honor 4 is considered a phablet, but it has a smaller, 5.5" 720p screen. It might have the MT6592 chipset plus eight Cortex-A7 cores and Mali-450 GPU.

We might see the two devices in time for the hollidays, and even, if we are lucky, the Huawei Ascend P6S.
