A research from the british carrier O2 shows, that about every 4 months users get bored of their mobile phones and buy new ones. 1/4 of the people in the survey say, that they get bored with their smartphone after the second month. 2/3 say that they might buy a new device even if the old one is working fine. Around 33% of all say that they always want the newest models, wether phones or tablets, no matter what.

The survey showed, that men are more practical than women when it comes to technology. 44% of men admit, that they will not buy a new device if the old one if fine and serves them well. The same goes for 37% of women, meaning that they are more driven by fashion than men.
